Jovina (Andrade) DeAndrade, 82, of New Bedford died November 13, 2006 at Beth Israel Hospital after a brief illness.
She was the former wife of the late Domingos "Bim Bim" DeAndrade.
Born and raised in Brava, Cape Verde, the daughter of the late Caroline Andrade, she came to New Bedford in 1976.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Assumption Church.
Survivors include 3 sons, Julio DeAndrade of Rhode Island, Joao DeAndrade and Cesar DeAndrade, both of New Bedford; 3 daughters, Carolina Neves and Elisabete Goncalves, both of New Bedford and Natalia Almeida of Florida; 16 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, many friends.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford Friday, November 17th at 10 AM followed by her Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church at 11 AM. Visiting hours will be on Thursday, November 16th from 4-8 PM. Interment St. John's Cemetery.
