Obituary

Union, ME – Annette M. (Massicotte) Taylor Fauteux, 92, of Union died after a long illness on November 11, 2006 surrounded by her loving family at the home of Debra and Thomas Gautesen. She was the widow of Archie Taylor and Aldege Fauteux.

Mrs. Fauteux was born in Fall River, daughter of the late Alphonse and Josephine (Dery) Massicotte, and resided in N. Dartmouth most of her life, living the past 15 years in Union. She was the owner/operator of the former Dotty’s Salon of Beauty in New Bedford until her retirement. She loved her family was an avid traveler.

Survivors include her daughter: Irene R. Brayton and her husband Gardner of N. Dartmouth; 5 grandchildren: Debra Gautesen and her husband Thomas, Gardner P. Brayton, Jr. and his wife LouAnn, Curtis A. Brayton, Timothy Pimental and Christine Gallop; 8 great-grandchildren: Nathan Travers, Kendrin Athaide and her husband Michael, Rita Brayton, Kaylee Brayton, Karysa Brayton, James Simmons and his wife Rachael, Megan Gautesen, and Kristi Genther and her husband Rick; 4 great great-grandchildren: Billie Athaide, Gaby Genther, Alexis Simmons and James Simmons; and several nieces & nephews.

She was mother of the late Lucille Taylor and sister of the late Wilfred Massicotte, Paul Massicotte, Albert Massicotte and Cora Gagne.

Visitation on Tuesday, November 14, 2006, 10-11 A.M. at the KIRBY FUNERAL HOME.

Funeral from the funeral home on Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at 11 A.M. followed by a funeral mass at Grace Episcopal Church at 12 noon.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kno-Wal-Lin, 170 Pleasant St., Rockland, ME 04841 or the Schwartz Center, 1 Posa Place, N. Dartmouth, MA 02747.

Interment in Acushnet Cemetery, Acushnet.
