James Edward Ouellette of South Dartmouth, beloved husband of Janet Horan Ouellette, passed away on Saturday November 11, 2006, after battling cancer for two years. He was predeceased by his wife, Kathleen Heyes Ouellette.
A former United States Marine, Jim began his managerial career at I.T.&T. and went on to become President and CEO of several companies. He retired as Vice President of Sales at Old London Foods in February.
In addition to his wife, he leaves his children, Michele Ouellette Scott, Mark and Barbara Ouellette, Larry and Sheryl Ouellette Cohen, Glenn and Monet Ouellette Rubin, Jarrett and Becky Ouellette, Jack and Elisabeth Horan Lisa, and Robert and Nina Horan Lewis, and nine grandchildren.
The wake will be held on Wednesday November 15, 2006 at 9:30 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, followed by a Mass of the Resurrection at St. Mary's Church, South Dartmouth at 11 AM.
