Patricia M. Alpers, 56 of Medford died Friday unexpectedly in the Massachusetts General Hospital Boston, MA.
Born in Boston, she lived in Medford all her life and was the daughter of the late Edna (Kosta) and Gordon Alpers Sr. Patricia was a teacher at the Medford middle and high schools since 1972 and retired in 2004. She was a 1968 Medford High School graduate and a 1972 Boston College graduate.
Beloved daughter of the late Edna (Kosta) and Gordon Alpers Sr. Devoted sister of Susan DiStefano and her husband Robert of Watertown, Gordon Alpers Jr. and his wife Jean of Virgina. Loving aunt of Danielle, Robert Jr., Jennifer, and Gordon. Loving great aunt of Lindsey, Emma, and Avery.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Tuesday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford, at 9 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Monday 4 - 8.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
