4 Sons: Charles Ellis & wife, Katrina-Vardaman; Richard Ellis-Vardaman; Joe Ellis-Vardaman; & Phillip Ellis-Gore Springs; 1 Daughter: Norma Pettit & husband, James-Houston,MS; 5 Sisters: Betty Vougine-Springfield,MO; Irene Carter-Tulsa,OK; Earlene Alford-Ackerman,MS; Ruth Stockman-Columbus,MS; & Patsy Luvell-Little Rock, AR; 17 Grandchildren, 26 Great Grandchildren, & 8 Great Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Crutchfield & Ruth Winston Crutchfield, her husband, Melvin Ellis, 1 daughter, 1 Sister, 4 Brothers, 3 Grandchildren, & 1 Great Grandchild.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 8, 2006 from 4-8 at the funeral home. Services will be held Thursday, November 9, 2006 at 2:00 at the New Liberty Baptist Church in Vardaman with burial in the New Liberty Cemetery. Mrs. Ellis will lie in state at the church from 1:00 until time of the service Thursday.
