Ida (Garabedian) Adams, a lifelong Newton Upper Falls resident, died Sun Nov. 5, 2006 at her home. She was 80.
Mrs. Adams attended Newton Schools and graduated from Newton High School. She had been a member of the Newton Women’s Club and had attended events at the Newton Senior Center. She had worked as a secretary for 3M for many years.
Wife of the late James L. Adams she is survived by her daughters Paula Blanchette of Amherst NH and Michele Lefevre-Dwyer of Newton Upper Falls, her grandchildren Jennifer and Barbara Deal and Jami-Lee, Shasahna, and Cameron Lefevre, her brothers Charles, George and John Garabedian all of Newton. She is also survived by her great grandson James and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends will gather at the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave. Needham on Wed Nov 8 at 9 AM and proceed to a Mass of Christian Burial in Mary Immaculate of Lourdes Church, Newton Upper Falls at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Newton Cemetery. Visiting hours will be in the funeral home on Tues. from 4-8 PM.
