Rita R. (Perry) Nangle, 86, of Methuen and a former resident of Andover, died Wednesday, Nov. 1, at the Merrimack Valley Hospital in Haverhill. She was the beloved wife of the late George J. Nangle.
She was born in Lawrence, March 7, 1920. She graduated from Lawrence High School in 1938.
Mrs. Nangle was a longtime communicant of St. Augustine Church in Andover.
She will be remembered as a real family person who loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed spending her summers at Forest Lake in Methuen.
She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, George M. and Patricia Nangle of Dracut, and Douglas J. and Ann Marie Nangle of Conyers, Ga.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Ellen W. and David H. Lambert of Haverhill, and Rita-Ann and Paul W. Lanouette of Sandown, N.H.; 11 grandchildren, Shawn, Kerry, Ashley, William, Kelly, Ryan, Cole, Craig, Darren, Melissa and Nicole; two great-grandchildren, Cameron and Ryan; two brothers-in-law and their wives, William and Betty Nangle and Roger and Denise Nangle, all of Lowell; several nieces and nephews.
