Margaret T. "Peggy" Zamparelli of Medford. Beloved wife of devoted husband Joseph P. Zamparelli and loving mother of Joseph P. Zamparelli, Jr., died at her home surrounded by her loving family on November 2, 2006, after enduring the effects of Alzheimers disease for 30 years. She was 80 years old. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, on April 22, 1926, she was the beloved daughter of the late William V. and Jean (McDonald) Boehler. Peggy was baptized at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Boston on May 23, 1926. Mrs. Zamparelli was a graduate of Malden High School, class of 1944 and she also attended the Tech Age Business School in Malden. She enjoyed more than 57 years of marriage with her beloved husband Joseph since their wedding day, September 6, 1948. In her younger years, Mrs. Zamparelli enjoyed gardening and was a senior clerk for the Department of Natural Resources and the Division of Law Enforcement, under the direction of Governor Sergeant. Above all, she was a devoted wife and mother. She was the beloved wife of Joseph P. Zamparelli of Medford, loving mother of Joseph P. Zamparelli, Jr. of Medford, cherished sister of Jean and her husband Jim Kostka of Florida, sister of the late PFC William V. Boehler, Jr.(KIA) Korea, dear sister-in-law of John F. and his wife Betty Zamparelli of Medford, Mary B. Held of Medford, Rose Quattrocchi of Medford and the late Andrew "Hawk" Zamparelli, Margaret "Mickey" Sacco, Francis M. Zamparelli and Eleanor Cataldo. Also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, caregivers all. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday, November 7, 2006, in St. Joseph Church 118 High Street, Medford, Tuesday at 11 AM. Many relatives and friends attended. Visiting hours were Monday, November 6, 2006, in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, MEDFORD, from 4 to 8 PM. Interment was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Donations in Peggy's memory may be made to the above named church.
