James “Jim” D. Tutor, age 55 of Water Valley, MS, died on Thursday, November 2, 2006 in Baptist Memorial Hospital N-MS in Oxford, MS. Mr. Tutor was a retired truck driver, a Baptist and served his country in the United States Army. Jim enjoyed writing poems and most of all, he enjoyed surfing the computer.
Visitation will be held at Seven Oaks Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Saturday, November 4, 2006. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 5, 2006 at 2:00 PM in Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks under the direction of Brother Tim Ellis. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be: Michael Harmon, Kenneth Harmon, Allen Tutor, Kenneth Tutor, Terry Tutor, Clay Hunt, Richard Tutor and Thomas Tutor.
Mr. Tutor is survived by his mother, Mable S. McCullar of Water Valley, MS; sisters, Teresa Tutor of Water Valley, MS, Brenda Moorhead of Water Valley, MS and Debra Tutor-Roberson of Batesville, MS; brothers, Allen Tutor of Courtland, MS, Thomas Tutor of Batesville, MS, Kenneth Tutor of Tampa, FL and Richard Tutor of Tampa, FL.
Preceding Mr. Tutor in death were his father Wayne Tutor and a sister Becky Tutor Self.
