Agnes M. (Breen) Kacvinsky a lifelong resident of Charlestown, died on Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at The Life Care Center in Stoneham following an extended illness. She was 83 years old.
Agnes was born and raised in Charlestown, she attended Boston Public Schools. Agnes was employed for 35 years at The Bank of Boston from which she retired in 1988. She was a member of The Daughters of Isabella # 1.
Agnes was the beloved wife of the late Joseph L. Kacvinsky. She is the devoted mother of John A. Kacvinsky and his wife Rita of Charlestown, Thomas M. Kacvinsky and his wife Susan of California, Joanne Kacvinsky of Woburn and the late Joseph L. Kacvinsky Jr. She is the loving grandmother of Kathleen, John, Joseph, and Liam Kacvinsky and great-grandmother of Madison and Philip. She is the beloved sister of Ellen Barry and Theresa Everett both of Maine, Rita Moe of Florida, and the late Mary Parillo, Anne Burke, Michael and Andrew Breen Jr.
Agnes Funeral will be held on Saturday November 4, 2006 at 9 am. from The Carr Funeral Home 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown, followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Francis De Sales Church 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown at 10 am. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours for Agnes will be on Friday November 3, 2006 from 4 to 8 pm. Burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
