Patsy L. Turner, 56, of Fitzgerald died Wednesday, November 1, at the Life Care Center in Fitzgerald.
Funeral services will be held 3:30 PM, Friday, November 3 at New Testament Holiness Church in Ben Hill County with Sister Charlotte Lawrence and Brother Art Sprinkle officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 Thursday evening at the funeral home.
Mrs. Turner was born June 20, 1950, in Clermont, Florida, to the late Lawrence Arthur and Myrtle Essie Carter York. She lived in the community most of her life and was a former resident of Tift and Irwin Counties. Mrs. Turner was a homemaker and a member of New Testament Holiness Church.
Mrs. Turner is survived by her husband: Jerry L. “Rob” Turner, Sr. of Fitzgerald; sons: Jerry L. Turner, Jr. of Abbeville, Bobby R. Turner of Fitzgerald and Frable “Spinawheel” Turner of Abbeville; 7 grandchildren; brother: Lawrence A. York, Jr. of Brookfield; sisters: Janie Bermudez, Charlene Powell, Sue Vangorder, Mary Napier and Christine Paul all of Fitzgerald, Barbara Faye Spearman of Ocilla and Jean Johns of Cadwell.
