Obituary

Blanche M. Theberge, 89, of 13 Carver St. died September 17, 2002 in the Laurel Center in Bedford. She was born in Greenville NH on March 28, 1913, the daughter of David and Jennie (Cherette) Ricard Sr. and had lived in Laconia most of her life.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed at the Belmont Hosiery Mills as a knitter. Previously she had worked at Cormier Hosiery Mills, O’ Shea’s Department Store, Sears and Fletcher’s Market. In addition, she also was employed in the laundry department of the Margate Resort.

Mrs. Theberge was a communicant of Sacred Heart parish. She was also a former parishioner of St. Joseph Parish in Belmont.

Family members include her husband of 68 years, Lomer P. Theberge of Laconia; three grandchildren, Michele Roy and her husband Paul of Bedford NH, Melinda Maheux and her husband Kenneth of Belmont and Michael Allard , US Army stationed in Alabama; five greatgrandchildren; a brother, Emile Ricard of Laconia a sister, Irene Labrecque of Belmont; nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a daughter, Patricia Allard in 1976.

Calling hours were in the Simoneau & Lambert Funeral Home, 139 Church St. on Friday from 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Avenue on Saturday at 10 AM. Rev. Adrien Longchamps, Pastor was the celebrant. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Timothy C. Molan and David L. Furber were the funeral directors.
