Andover, MA – Marguerite V. (O’Connor) Noonan, died Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at the Sutton Hill Nursing Center of North Andover.
Born February 22, 1926 in Lawrence Mrs. Noonan was a graduate of Saint Mary’s High School and worked several years as a teacher’s aide at Holy Trinity School in Lawrence.
Marguerite was a homemaker, mother, sister, and loving grandmother
She was a communicant of Saint Monica’s Church in Methuen.
A longtime resident of Lawrence and Methuen Marguerite was the widow of James K. Noonan.
Survivors include two sons James K. & his wife Mary G. Noonan of Andover, William F. Noonan of Methuen, two sisters Rita O’Connor of Methuen, and Sr. Elizabeth O’Connor, SND of Ipswich, MA, two brothers Rev. Francis J. O’Connor of Methuen and the Rev. Joseph X. O’Connor, OSA, of North Andover, 4 grandchildren, Mary Beth Noonan of Brookline, MA, James K. Noonan of Arlington, VA, Laura J. Noonan & William J. Noonan of Methuen, sister-inlaw Catherine O’Connor of Lawrence. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Marguerite was predeceased by her sisters, Helen Flynn and Elizabeth McKenna and her brother John O'Connor.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 11 o’clock in Saint Monica’s Church with burial to follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 2-4 P.M. & 6-8 P.M. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen
