Great grandmother of Aiden and Joshua Keller.
Funeral Service in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Friday at 10am. Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Visiting hours Thursday 4-7 pm. Donations in memory of Edna may be made to the Salvation Army, 216 Centre St., Brockton, MA 02302.
Obituary
Edna M. Townsend died Monday evening at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was born and raised in Easton, a daughter of the late Robert E. and Edna (Foster) Thomas. She had been a resident of E. Bridgewater for the past 7 years and previous lived in Brockton for many years. She was retired from the Lutheran Nursing Home as a cook for over 10 years. Previously she was a nurse’s aide for 25 years at the former Harris Nursing Home. Mrs. Townsend loved to crochet and to bake.
She is survived by three daughters, Jean M. Boyd and her husband Robert of New Jersey, Nancy J. Patsavos and her husband Steve of Randolph and LuAnn M. Overstreet of E. Bridgewater, six grandchildren, Carri-anne Keller, Jared Boyd, Tiffany, Lance Cpl. Gregory USMC, Kevin and Allie Overstreet and two great grandchildren Aiden and Joshua Keller.
She was the sister of the late Dorothy Thomas
