Obituary

Lawrence, MA – Elmer J. “Peps” Arsenault, 78, died Monday October 30, 2006 at Caritas Holy Family Hospital.

Born in Lawrence July 29, 1928 Elmer was a 1947 graduate of Lawrence High School.
For 30 years he had been employed in Lawrence with the Meade Corporation as a Pressman, and most recently with Lucent Technologies of North Andover before his retirement.
Elmer was an avid electric and acoustical guitarist who was known to play often at family gatherings. Along with his wife enjoyed traveling, and dancing. They were both known to be very involved with their grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years Olive M. (Laberge) Arsenault.
One daughter Cathy G. & her husband Ronald A. Simoes of Methuen, brothers and sisters Roy Arsenault, Marie Gallant, Francis Arsenault, Walter Arsenault & wife Arlene, and Doris Langtry, 4 grandchildren Scott & wife Michelle Simoes, Chad Simoes, Cristen Schmidt, and Keith Simoes. One greatgranddaughter Chloe Simoes, several nieces, nephews and very close cousins & friends.
A Funeral mass will take place on Friday morning at 9 o’clock in Saint Monica’s Church of Methuen with burial to follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
