Eleanor C. Terenzi, 73, of Peabody Rd., Derry, NH, died Tuesday, September 17, 2002, at the Integrated Health Services in Derry following a lengthy illness. She was born in East Boston, MA on April 9, 1929, a daughter of the late Giovanni and Michelina (Caione) DeSantis. She was a resident of Derry since 1994, formerly living in East Boston, MA. She was a member of the East Boston Ladies Lodge. Mrs. Terenzi was a volunteer at Parkland Medical Center in Derry in the Senior Friends Program and was a communicant of St. Marks Church in Londonderry, NH. She loved spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her husband Quirino R. Terenzi in 1997 and her granddaughter Antonia DelViscovo in 2000.
She is survived by two sons, David Terenzi of East Boston, MA, Michael Terenzi of Londonderry, two daughters, Rita E. Fardella of Sandown, NH, Dolores DelViscovo of Londonderry, nine grandchildren, two sisters, Marion Nappi of Winthrop, MA, Diane DeSantis of Revere, MA, one brother, William DeSantis of Billerica, MA, several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday September 20th at 10:00 at St. Marks Church, corner of Mammoth Rd. and South Rd., Londonderry. The burial will be in the Pleasant View Cemetery in Londonderry. Friends may call at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry on Thursday September 19th from 4 – 8 pm. The funeral home is handicapped accessible.
