Janice V. (Surprenant) Quinlan, 68, of Fairhaven, died Wednesday October 25, 2006 unexpectedly at home. She was the wife of the late John D. Quinlan.
Born and raised in Fairhaven, the daughter of Violet (Gould) Surprenant of Fairhaven and the late Conrad Surprenant, she lived in Westwood, Mattapoisett and Fairhaven.
Mrs. Quinlan was formerly employed as a realtor in Westwood and Mattapoisett.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her mother; a son, David J. Quinlan and his wife Johanna of Cohasset; two daughters, Caroline Figucia and her husband Joseph of Lynnfield, and Erin Marcelli and her husband Marc of Cohasset; two brothers, Arthur Surprenant and his wife Linda of Fairhaven, and Robert Surprenant of Dartmouth; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10 AM in St. Anthony's Church, Mattapoisett. Burial will follow in St. Anthony's Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Sunday from 2-6 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home for Funerals, 50 County Rd. (Rt. 6), Mattapoisett.
