WEBSTER – Carrie E. (Czyzewski) Valentinetti, 98, formerly of 6 Brook St., died Wednesday, Oct. 25, in Overlook Masonic Health Center, Charlton. Her husband of 50 years, Alfred Valentinetti, died in 1989.
She leaves a son, Richard A. Valentinetti and his wife Tina of Moretown, VT; a daughter, Linda C. Cournoyer and her husband Ovide of Webster; a sister, Olga Donovan of Southbridge; 4 grandchildren, Daniel and Denise Cournoyer, Vito Valentinetti and Angela Wilkins; 4 great grandchildren, Ashley, Daniel, Jr. and August Rose Cournoyer and Dylan Wilkins; several nieces and nephews.
She was born in Southbridge, a daughter of Michael and Karolina (Roseka) Czyzewski. She worked in
the maintenance department for New England Telephone Company for 25 years before retiring in 1972.
Mrs. Valentinetti was a member of St. Louis Church, the Southern Worcester County Association for Retarded Citizens and the Telephone Pioneers of America.
The funeral will be held Monday, October 30, from Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main St., with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Louis Church, 14 Lake St. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Dudley. Calling hours are from 1:00 to 4:00 PM Sunday, Oct. 29, in the funeral home.
