Mrs. Mary E. O´Doherty, Age 96, a life long resident of Woburn died, Thursday, October 26th at the Woburn Nursing Center following a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Lewis G. O´Doherty. Born in Woburn she was the daughter of the late Robert P. and Mildred A. (Botwell) Queen.
Mrs. O´Doherty was a member of the Woburn High School graduating class of 1928. She worked for many years as a nurse´s aid at the Choate Hospital. Devoted to her family she enjoyed spending time with her loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents she predeceased by her daughter Mary E. McNaughton, her son, Louis G. O´Doherty and a brother, Carl Queen. She is survived by her son Lawrence John O´Doherty of Woburn. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Linda Shannon and her husband Richard of Woburn, Diane Buttaro and her husband Richard of Burlington, Robert McNaughton and his wife Patricia of Woburn, Mary Ellen Cerra of Chelmsford, Rudy O´Doherty of NH, Lawrence Jr., Jason and Adam O´Doherty all of Woburn and is further survived by thirteen loving great grandchildren.
Funeral from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home 60 Pleasant St. Woburn, Tuesday, October 31st, at 9 a.m. followed by a graveside service at Woodbrook Cemtery, Woburn, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4 thru 8.
