Born in Lodz, Poland 79 years ago, Zofia spent most of her life in Chelsea on Blossom Street until moving to Tewksbury in 1984. She passed away at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington Tuesday morning after being admitted on Monday for complications arising from a painful surgery on the 13th of September. An avid gardener and dress maker, she retired at 65 years of age from Massachusetts General Hospital where she was employed in the housekeepping department for just under 15 years.
