
Lee Prevoir, a long time resident of Revere, died on October 24, 2006 at the Beth Israel Hospital. She was 92 years old.
Born in Boston, Ms. Prevoir was educated in the Boston school system and was part of the first graduating class at Brighton High School. Ms. Prevoir spent many years as a private secretary for a commercial leather products company. Along with keeping a loving home, Ms. Prevoir was an avid card player who excelled in the game of bridge and enjoyed completing arts and crafts projects in her spare time.
Ms. Prevoir was the loving mother of Maxine Dollie Oborsky of Revere and Robert and Mary Prevoir of Randolph. She was the dear sister of Hyman and Beatrice Prevoir. Ms. Prevoir was the loving grandmother of Susan Thorn and Ann Marie Hoyt and the late Colin H. Oborsky, and adored great grandmother of Alexander and Andrew Thorn.
Funeral services will be held at the Torf Funeral Chapel, 151 Washington Avenue (Cary Sq.) CHELSEA on Thursday, October 26, 2006 at 11:00 AM. Rabbi Frank Waldorf will officiate. Burial will take place in the Vilno Cemetery, West Roxbury. Memorial observance will be private.
