Obituary

Annette M. Paine, 75, of Mendon Road in North Smithfield, formerly of Kennedy Street in Woonsocket died Saturday at Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Edgar E. Paine.
Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late George D. and Irene (Brien) Leduc, she lived in Woonsocket most of her life moving to North Smithfield one year ago. She was a member of Woonsocket Lodge of Elks #850. She belonged to the Jazzy Red Hatters, AARP Woonsocket Area Chapter 4272, Gatewood Association, and the Trinity Club. She also belonged to several senior clubs, St. Joseph, St. Agatha, St. Aidan, North Smithfield and Cumberland. She was a volunteer for the Share program at the Woonsocket Sr. Center and was an avid pitch league card player. She received the Volunteer of the Year award for her volunteer work at St. Antoine Residence in Woonsocket.
Annette is survived by her daughter, Jo-Ann K. Lessa of New Bedford, MA; her sons, Raymond Dussault of Charlestown, RI and Richard Dussault of Buffalo, NY,ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Matthew D. and Maryann Paine. She was the sister of the late Blanch Connell, Norman Leduc, Irene Gervais, Alfred Leduc, Lionel Leduc and Bernadette Izzo.
A Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Saturday October 28th at 10:00am at the Church of the Holy Family, 414 South Main Street, Woonsocket.
