Orlando of Plymouth (Manomet) Peter Sr. 83, at Boston Medical Center Oct. 16, beloved husband of Charlotte Ruth (Popp) Orlando of Manomet. Father of Peter Jr. of Grafton, Eric of Manomet, and Cheryl Selig of Plymouth. Brother of John Orlando and Rose Farkas both of CT. He also leaves 3 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home 619 State Road Manomet on Friday Oct. 20. Burial will be private at the Massachusetts National Cemetery Bourne, MA. US Navy Veteran of WWII.

Mr. Orlando was born in Wallingford, CT on Nov. 14, 1922 to the late Joseph and Marion (Rizzo)Orlando. He attended Wallingford Schools and Boston University for four years. He and his wife owned Chalet Ceramics in Manomet. He lived in Manomet since 1966 coming from Natick.
Mr. Orlando liked painting and gardening and he was a member of DAV. He was also a US Navy veteran of WWII receiving Asiatic-Pacific Ribbon with 1 Star, European African, Middle Eastern Ribbon with 2 Stars and Philippine Liberation Ribbon with 1 Star.
Mr. Orlando died at Boston Medical Center Oct. 16, 2006.
