Copalee ”Lee” P. Shouse, 78, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Saturday, October 14, 2006 at Regency Hospital, Macon, Ga.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday, October 16, 2006 at Paulk Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Leroy Spivey, Rev. Danny Gay and Rev. Chuck Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday at the funeral home in Fitzgerald from 7 to 9 PM.
Mrs. Shouse was born May 18, 1928 in Harlan County, Kentucky to the late Little Berry and Flora Alice Lambdin Phillips. She was a former resident of Buffalo, N.Y. and Hialeah, FL. She had lived in the community since 1994 moving here from Miami, FL and was a member of Fitzgerald Church of God.
She is survived by Daughters: Darlene (Billy) Branam of Fitzgerald, GA and Susie (James) Hollingsworth of Abbeville, GA: Sons: Michael (Nancy) Nelson, Davie, FL and Erick (Barbi) Shouse of Abbeville, GA; Eight Grandchildren, Five great-granchildren and Brothers: Harold Phillips, Seymour, TN and Paul Phillips, Lincoln Park, Michigan. She was preceded in death by husband Melvin A. Shouse.
