Obituary

Joseph Edward Tuminelli, of Dedham, died October 14, 2006 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Needham, he was 80. He was the beloved husband of Helen (Howard) Tuminelli.

Born in Cambridge, he was the son of the late Michael and Margaret (Gentile) Tuminelli. A World War II Army Veteran having served overseas, Mr. Tuminelli was a Dedham resident for over 30 years.

He was a founding Partner of R & D Electronics, Vice President of Harvey Electronics and Consulting Vice President of Emtel Electronics. He was a member of the Tuesday Night Club of Dedham and a lifetime member of Wampatuck Country Club.

In addition to his wife, he was the Loving father of Katherine Charron of California, Michael Tuminelli of Kingston, Philip Tuminelli of Plainville, Joseph Tuminelli of Virginia, and Andrea Cahill of Ohio. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and two sister-in-laws, Marie Tuminelli of Westwood, and Grace Tuminelli of Arlington.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend his funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham, on Tuesday at 8:00 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham, at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow in Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham. Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
