Cherished grandmother of Daniel Charles Desposito and his wife Grace of Dripping Springs, Texas, Joyce Grant and her husband Ken of Mendon and Ms. Julie Desposito of Natick. Also lovingly survived by her great granddaughter Emma. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, CHELSEA on Saturday morning, October 14th at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Stanislaus Church, 163 Chestnut Street, CHELSEA at 9 o'clock. Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Friday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Expressions of sympathy in Irene's name may be made to St. Stanislaus Church.
A lifelong Chelsea resident, Irene, at 88 years of age, passed away at the Carlyle House in Framingham after a very brief illness.
After attending Williams School, Irene worked for Pure White Laundry, Everlastic Company and Beacon Wiper. She retired from Picarello and Singer Clothing Manufacturer where she worked as a stitcher.
Mrs Zabierek spent 10 wonderful years at Admirals Hill where she often volunteered her time for trips, parties and Saturday night bingos as well as being an active member of many committees that helped maintain an active community life. She will truely missed by those she served so well...
