WORCESTER-Anne M. Egan of 52 Country Club Boulevard formerly of Fairfax, VA died Tuesday, September 10th in Hubbard Hospital. She leaves 3 sisters, Joan M. Cormier of Leicester, Sr. Helen Egan S.S.J. of Worcester and Maureen E. Egan of Worcester; 7 nehews and nieces; 12 grand nephews and grand nieces. A sister, Betty T. Wilber died in 1991.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of James and Mary E. (Grady) Egan. She graduated from St. Peter’s High School. She graduated from St. Vincent School of Nursing to become a registered nurse. She worked as an obstetric nurse for many years at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Beth Israel Hospital in Boston and Fairfax Hospital in Fairfax, VA. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Church and a member of the 52 Club of Lincoln Village.
The funeral will be Friday, September 13th from O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Joan of Arc Church, 570 Lincoln Street. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
