Obituary

WORCESTER____Robert J. Virbasius, 64, of 47 Houghton St., died Monday Sept. 9 in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center, 20 Worcester Center Boulevard.

He leaves aunts, uncles and cousins. He was born in Worcester, son of John J. and Louise V. (Sakalauskas) Virbasius and lived here all his life.

Mr. Virbasius was a forging grinder many years in the process inspection department of Wyman-Gordon Co., North Grafton. He retired several years ago.

He graduated from St. Casimir Grammar School.

Mr. Virbasius was a member of St. Casimirs Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He enjoyed trout fishing and spending time on Cape Cod.

The funeral will be held on Thursday Sept. 12 from Dirsa-Morin Funeral Home, 298 Grafton St., with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Casimirs Church, 41 Providence St. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. A calling hour will be held Thursday Sept. 12 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Casimirs Church Building Fund, 41 Providence St., Worcester, 01604.
