Obituary

SANBORNTON---Sandra Lee (Wrath) Jorgensen, 81, of Sanbornton, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully in her home on October 24, 2026, surrounded by her three daughters, Kim Gustafson, Jamie Lennon, and Jill Dawson.

Born in Providence, Rhode Island, on February 28, 1945, Sandra was the daughter of the late Shelton and Violetta Wrath. Sandra was known for her caring, loving, and generous nature. She was a registered nurse and, alongside her late husband, Richard Jorgensen, founded a machining business. Sandra and Richard shared a happy marriage, and she cared for him deeply. Their life together remained a cherished part of her story.

Sandra was an excellent cook who loved sharing recipes with her daughters. A talented seamstress when her children were young, she was also a skilled piano player and gifted in mathematics.

Sandra treasured time with her family and especially loved shopping with Kim, Jamie, and Jill. She loved music and dancing with her sister, Nancy. An avid reader, she found particular enjoyment in her book club, Sammy’s Circle. To her grandchildren, she was affectionately known as “Sammy,” a name that held a special place in her heart and theirs.

She is survived by her four daughters, Kim, Shelly, Jamie, and Jill; her sons-in-law, Eric Gustafson, Brian Lennon, and Thomas Dawson; and her stepchildren, Cathy Campbell, David Jorgensen, and Bradley Jorgensen.

She also leaves behind ten grandchildren, Eric Gustafson II, Joshua Gustafson, Zachary Gustafson, Ashleigh Mongovan, Lindsey Page, Brett Hanson, Richard Lennon, Joseph Lennon, Zoe Dawson, and Chance Dawson; and four great-grandchildren, Beckett Gustafson, Kolt Gustafson, Julian Page, and Claudia Lee Page.

Sandra is also survived by her sister, Nancy Wrath; her nephew, Dallas Wrath; and her nieces, Lilah Donovan and Keely Donovan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Jorgensen, and her stepson, Doug Jorgensen.

Sandra will be remembered for her generous spirit, her kindness, and the love she shared with her family. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
