Jane Mahoney of Nashua, NH died peacefully on October 18, 2026.
Jane was born on January 2, 1959, in Lowell, Massachusetts, the daughter of Dr. Hugh F. Mahoney (deceased) and Ruth (Martin) Mahoney (deceased) and the loving sister of John P. Mahoney (deceased) of Tewksbury, Massachusetts.
Jane is survived by her sisters, Maureen Mahoney of Plantation, Florida and Mary Ellen Doyle of Austin, Texas. Her cousins Hugh Martin of Nashua, New Hampshire and Susan Martin of Key West, Florida.
She was a wonderful, fun, caring aunt to Colin Doyle and Hugh Doyle of Austin, Texas, and Paul and Julia Tripodi of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
Jane also leaves great nieces Mia, Sofia and Emilia Doyle of Austin, Texas, and great nephew Hunter Doyle of Austin, Texas. She also leaves behind her devoted, caring, canine companion of 13 years, Jude.
Jane was a graduate of Notre Dame Academy, Tyngsboro and LaSalle College, Newton, MA.
She was currently employed by Nashua Post Acute Care of Nashua, NH. Jane devoted herself to her career as a physical therapist and was a favorite among her colleagues and patients.
Jane was an accomplished skier and mountaineer. She taught children and adults at Snowmass Mountain in Aspen, Colorado and later at Nashoba Valley Ski Area in Westford, MA.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 9th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, 282 Suffolk Street, Lowell. A reception to follow in the church hall. Those attending are asked to meet at church. A private burial will be at the Tewksbury Cemetery.
