Albert Carrillo Villegas, Jr, 89 of Ventura, California, passed away on October 19, 2026, in Ventura. Albert was born in Oxnard, CA to Albert and Maria Villegas on February 16, 1937. Albert attended Oxnard High School and graduated in 1954. Prior to graduation, he began his 46-year career in the grocery business. He began his career at Santa Cruz Market and spent many years working at Safeway and Vons stores in the Ventura County area. Albert enjoyed spending time with his loving family. He loved family get togethers and barbecues, classic cars, and watching his grandchildren play local youth and high school sports. He was a loyal and true supporter at each and every game. But nothing was more important to him than his wife of 67 years, Anita Villegas. Albert was a kind, loving, patient, friendly and hard-working family man.
Albert is survived by his wife, Anita Villegas, of Ventura. Son and his wife, John and Donna Villegas of Ventura and her children, Lisa and Rebecca, Daughters Katherine Villegas and fiancé, Eddie Howery and his children, Rachel and Jake of Ventura, Melissa Coyle and husband, Avery Coyle of San Diego and Michele Eberhard and husband, Brian Eberhard of Ventura. Grandchildren Sheridan Tuschka and husband, Johnny Tuschka, Dylan Elizondo, Jaden Elizondo, Preston Eberhard, Ethan Coyle, Blake Eberhard, Caleb Coyle and great grandchild, Ledger Tuschka. Brother Alex Villegas. Albert is preceded in death by his son, Albert Villegas, his grandmother, Josephine Villegas, his parents, Albert and Maria Villegas, stepmother, Trini Chavez and his siblings Irene Villegas Gonzalez, Armando Villegas, Josie Portillo, and Andy Villegas.
A Most Holy Rosary will be held at Boyko & Reardon Telegraph Road Mortuary and Cremation at 15 Teloma Drive, Ventura, California on Sunday, November 8th at 4:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, November 9th at noon at Our Lady of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church at 3175 Telegraph Road in Ventura, California. A celebration of life will follow at the Ventura Yacht Club at 1755 Spinnaker Drive, Ventura, CA 93001.
