Obituary

WORCESTER____Adele V. Katauskas, 85, of 71 Penn Ave., died Thursday September 28 in her home.

She leaves a sister, Irene A. Mamavich of Worcester; a brother, Paul Kay in California and nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Kay. Adele was born in Worcester, a daughter of Peter and Anna (Karaishis) Katauskas and lived here all her life.

Miss Katauskas was a sales associate for more than twenty five years at Filene’s in Worcester. She retired in 1986. She attended Worcester schools. Miss Katauskas was a member of St. Casimir Church and enjoyed helping out with various parish activities. She was a former member of the Knights of Lithuania.

The funeral will be held on Saturday September 30 with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Casimir Church, 41 Providence St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Casmir Church Renovation Fund, 41 Providence St., Worcester, MA 01604. DIRSA – MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., is directing funeral arrangements.
