OLSON, Mark C. Proud owner of Olson Landscaping, Needham, longtime resident of Needham and Dedham, passed away unexpectedly on October 19, 2026. Beloved son of William J. Olson of Dedham, and Carolyn Nieves of Needham. Loving brother of Jennifer Hann and her husband John of Millis. Devoted uncle of Casey Carlucci and her husband Thomas. Loving and constant companion of his English Lab Buck.
Mark loved life. He was an avid sportsman with a passion for hunting in the fall, skiing in the winter, and fishing in the spring and summer. When one season would slow down, it was off to the next challenge. Mark never lost his enthusiasm for sports and loved watching all sports.
Visiting hours will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 1305 Highland Ave. Needham on Thursday, October 22nd from 4-7pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Friday, October 23rd at 11:30am. Interment private.
