John J. Berry, 81, of Lowell, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2026, at his home.
Born on February 5, 1945, in Lawrence, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Romeo St. Amand and the late Yvonne (Lovoie) St. Amand.
John was a graduate of Lowell High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy before beginning a long career in manufacturing. He worked as a machine operator at Vernon Plastics in Lawrence for many years before his retirement.
John enjoyed painting and, most of all, spending time with his family. He treasured the moments spent with his loved ones and will be remembered fondly by those who knew and loved him.
John was the husband of the late Linda Gonigan and the late Rose (Trudel) Berry.
He is survived by his daughter, Adeana Lamarche, and her husband, Sylvio, of Lowell; his son, William Berry, and his fiancée, Lillian, of Lowell; five grandchildren, Alexis, Sylvio Jr., Alyssa, Victoria, and Frankie; and his great-granddaughter, Talia. He also leaves behind his beloved grand pup, Nova.
At his request, there will be no viewing or religious service.
