Obituary

Wenham: Lillian B. (Belanger) Thibault, age 90, of Wenham died unexpectedly at her home on Monday, September 25, 2006. She was the wife of the late Joseph P. Thibault.
Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Amanda (Tondreault) Belanger. As a young woman, she attended Salem Commercial School and worked for Sylvania at the Loring Avenue plant.
Lillian was a caregiver for her parents and siblings for many years. She devoted her life to her family and especially her grandchildren and loved knitting, crocheting and needlepoint. She was very devoted to prayer and was a longtime member of the former St. Joseph Parish of Salem and the Dames de la Ste. Famille of that parish. Lillian moved to Wenham from Salem 12 years ago.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Violet L. Oliver of Beverly, Rachel J. Murrin and her husband Robert of Rowley, a son: Robert P. Thibault of Beverly, 3 grandchildren: Rachel Oliver of Stoneham, Catherine Oliver of Peabody and Shauna Murrin of Rowley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 4 brothers: Armand, Rene, Philip & Rosario Belanger.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral on Friday, September 29, 2006, at 10 am from the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St., [Rt. 114 / 1-A] Salem followed by her funeral mass in St. James Church, Federal St., Salem at 10:30 am. Visiting hours will precede her funeral from 9 am to 10 am. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
