Gayle Norris Bauer, 66, of Anderson passed away at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis following a sudden illness.
She was born on April 13, 1960 in Anderson, IN. She graduated from Anderson High School in the class of 1978. She worked as a caregiver for St. Vincent Home Healthcare.
She was a former member of Park Place Church of God. She had a strong faith for Jesus. She enjoyed gardening, nature especially with Monarch butterflies, cooking, baking, and animals.
She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Diana Norris and Jeff Bowen of Hawaii; a niece, Nikole (Brad) Trolson of Indianapolis; a nephew, Arik (Tonya) Bowen of St. Paul, IN; a daughter-in-law, Katie Bauer of Muncie; six great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin LaVern and Frances O. Norris and her son, John Martin Bauer.
A celebration of life will be from 12:00pm-1:00pm on Monday, November 30, 2026 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service in West End with sharing beginning at 1:00pm. A private burial will take place at East Maplewood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Madison County Humane Society.
