Mable Elaine Williford McMillan, 83, of Tifton passed away Monday, October 19, 2026, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 23, 2026, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Mark Myers officiating. Mrs. McMillan will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 23, 2026, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
Born February 11, 1943, in Albany, Mrs. McMillan was the daughter of the late Lamar Williford and Lucille Ezelle Williford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Christopher Paul "Chris" McMillan; three sisters, Jewel Chandler, Gail Dudley, and Brenda Hall; and one great-grandson, Mac Frobos. She earned her master’s degree in education and, before retiring, she taught for 20 years in the Tift County School System. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association; and Tifton’s First Baptist Church.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her three sons and daughters-in-law, Paul and Stacey Watson McMillan of Tifton, Robert Henderson IV and Anita Smith McMillan of Dallas, Georgia, and Dr. Daniel L. and Kerri Floyd McMillan of Sylvester; a daughter, Karen Cason of Bainbridge; one sister, Ruth Stevens of Moxley; a sister-in-law, Patricia McMillan Hammond of Calhoun; her grandchildren and their spouses, Stephanie and David Frobos, Josh and Jena McMillan, Sarah McMillan, Alexa and Hunter Clements, Jenna McMillan, and Elli McMillan; her great-grandchildren, Mason Frobos, James McMillan, Samuel McMillan, Selah McMillan and Sawyer Clements.
