PAPPAS, Pauline J. (Norton) Lifelong resident of West Roxbury, more recently of Sophia Snow House, originally of Upham’s Corner, Dorchester, passed away on October 12, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Emanuel Pappas. Devoted mother of Susan Hampson and her husband Phil of Milford, and John Pappas and his wife Rosa Davidsdottir of Hyde Park. Loving Nana of William Hampson, and Gudrun Pappas.
June absolutely loved being a Mom and Nana, and her deep kindness, warmth, and love touched everyone who knew her. Resilient, funny, and full of life, she loved to laugh, spend time with friends, and bring her family together for every holiday and celebration. June knew how to truly enjoy life and taught us all to cherish the time we have with the people we love and to live life to the fullest.
Visiting hours will be held at the P.E. Murray - F.J. Higgins, George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 2000 Centre St. West Roxbury Sunday, October 18th from 1-4pm. Funeral from the funeral home on Monday, October 19th at 9am, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Theresa Church, West Roxbury, at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Burial in the St. James Section of St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.
