Linda S. (Hebard) Ellis, age 77, of Norton, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by the comfort and care of her loving and devoted family on Saturday, October 10, 2026.
Born in Attleboro, MA on June 5, 1949, she was a loving daughter of the late William R. and Lydia G. (Gross) Hebard.
Linda grew up in Mansfield and was a graduate of Mansfield High School. She made her home in Norton for over fifty years and prior to retiring, was well-known for her talents as a longtime barber at Musto’s Barber Shop in Walpole.
Linda’s favorite times were those spent in presence of her adoring family. She loved to work outside in her yard and especially taking in the beauty and tranquility of the Norton Reservoir. Her other hobbies included watching TV and reading novels.
She is survived by her devoted sons, Michael T. Ellis-Mullan and his wife Suryanis of Norton, Jonothan Ellis of Vermont and Richard Ellis of Arizona. She was the cherished grandmother of Chiron, Phoebe, Alex and Kaia Ellis-Mullan. She was the dear sister of the Betse Tanguay of Chicopee and the late William Hebard, Chris McCoy and Bodie McCoy. She was the treasured aunt of William Hebard of Bourne, Shannon Hebard of Attleboro, Paul Hebard of North Attleboro and Sarah Hebard of Norton.
A service in celebration of her life, as well as burial, will be private and visiting hours are omitted.
