LACONIA --- Janis “Cookie” Ann Milne, 76, of Estate Circle, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2026 at Concord Hospital – Laconia, after a period of declining health.
Cookie was born on January 23, 1950, in Laconia, NH, the daughter of the late Raymond Daigle and Lorraine (Dupont) Daigle.
Cookie was a loving and caring woman who found her greatest happiness in the simple joys of life, especially the time she spent surrounded by family and those she loved. Cookie treasured her family and had a special place in her heart for her children. She loved bringing everyone together and was happiest when her home was filled with family, laughter, and conversation. Hosting family gatherings was something she truly enjoyed, creating a welcoming place where loved ones could come together, share stories, enjoy good food, and make lasting memories.
She had a passion for sewing and gardening, often spending hours tending to her plants and planting beautiful flowers that brought color and life to her surroundings. Cookie appreciated life's little pleasures, whether that was working on a sewing project, enjoying the beauty of her garden, or spending a relaxing day at the beach.
Cookie will be remembered for her warm heart, her love of family, and the joy she found in caring for others. Just as the flowers she lovingly planted brought beauty year after year, the love and memories she leaves behind will continue to bloom in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Cookie is survived by her sons David Page and Dee Bark, Scott Page and Allen Page; brothers Raymond “Mickey” Daigle and his wife Candice, and Jeff Daigle and his wife Lorraine; sister Judy Ellis and her husband Scott; grandson Jimmy Page and Mindy Dow; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved 18-year-old cat, Sammy. In addition to her parents, Cookie is predeceased by her husband Robert “Bob” Milne, niece Sydnie Quimby, and nephew Chris Daigle.
Per Cookie’s wishes, there will be no services.
