Karen Elizabeth Massey of West Roxbury, formerly of Jamaica Plain, passed away unexpectedly on September 25, 2026. Beloved mother of Felicia D. Zangi and her husband Ronen of West Roxbury and Justin S. Jackson and his wife Kimberly of CA. Dear sister of Scott Massey of CA, Colleen of MA, Allyn Massey Thompson and her husband Gary of MD. Loving grandmother of Acadia G. Zangi, Jordan, Imogen, Conrad, Duncan, and Mirabelle Jackson, Lily Lohrer, and Hudson Cornish. Also survived by her nephew Gregory Priest, his wife Anna, and their 2 daughters.
A lifelong gardener & seeker of the unconventional, she sought to transform Life. Always pursuing integrity & instilling it in all matters, that legacy lives on in all of us who knew & loved her. Please remember her in listening to Johann Pachelbel Canon in D and Eva Cassidy’s rendition of Somewhere Over the Rainbow. God has rested her soul. She is with the Angels now.
