HARKINS, Robert J.- Age 68, of Dorchester and Weymouth on September 20 after a long illness. Devoted son of Frederick Harkins and Mildred (Finneran) Harkins, beloved brother of Rev. Michael Harkins, the late Gerald Harkins, and Mary Harkins. Known to all as Bob, he was a graduate of St. Peter Elementary School, Dorchester and Boston Technical School, Roxbury. Funeral Mass at St. Jerome Church, 632 Bridge St. (Rte 3A), North Weymouth on Saturday, October 10 at 10:30 A.M. Burial will be private at a later date. Donations in Bob’s memory may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
