Arthur “Art” H. Daniels, 83 years old, of Litchfield, NH passed away on October 2nd 2026 at Catholic Medical Center with his family by his side.
He was born on February 21, 1943 in Haverhill, MA to the late Arthur and Jennie (Schena) Daniels.
Arthur was an Army Medic during the Vietnam War and helped care for the injured in Germany. Following his military service, Art was employed at the Hale Hospital in Haverhill, MA as a Medical Technologist in charge of the Blood Bank. He became Assistant Laboratory Chief while there.
Art loved to travel with his loved ones. Some of his favorite places to travel were in the Caribbean, especially St. Martin. His other favorite spot to travel was Myrtle Beach where he spent every summer for 40 years with his family.
Art was active in the Knights of Columbus at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish in Derry, NH. He also served as a Eucharistic Minister and a greeter at the church.
Art is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Maureen (Brennan) Daniels of Litchfield, NH, their daughter Tracey Daniels of Londonderry, NH, and their son Brian Daniels and his spouse Andrea of Londonderry, NH. He is also survived by his sister Kathleen Whittaker of Londonderry, NH, along with his 5 grandchildren - Nicole Mitchell, Samantha, Sara, Luke, and Nora Daniels, and his great grandson Patrick.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 from 4:00 – 7:00pm at the Peabody Funeral Home, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday October 14, 2026 at 10:00am in St. Thomas Aquinas Parish, 26 Crystal Avenue, Derry. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Gilcreast Road, Londonderry.
