N. Dartmouth - Ella E. (Geerlof) Velevis, 90, of N. Dartmouth passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2006 at home. She was the wife of Peter F. Velevis.
Born in Hoboken, NJ, daughter of John and Grace (Thompson) Geerlof, she had resided in New Jersey for most of her life. Mrs. Velevis was a member of the Westport Council on Aging.
Including her husband, she is survived by a son: Stuart A. Velevis of North Carolina; 2 daughters: Eileen M. Martin of Dartmouth and Audrey Doerflien of Bayonne, NJ; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Wednesday, September 27, 2006 at the Potter Funeral home at 5:00 P.M.
Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service from 4 - 5 P.M.
