
Steven V. Raso Jr., lifelong resident of Lynnfield, passed away on Saturday, September 26th. He was 19. Born in Boston and raised in Lynnfield, he was the cherished son of Steven and Liza (Moreschi) Raso.
Steven was an attentive and thoughtful person. He paid attention to everyone and everything, absorbing every possible detail. Steven was an epitome of a true and genuine friend. He created his own fashion and style. Steven was savvy, always dressed his best and impressed all with his choices of jeans, shirts and boots. He was a natural gamer and a pro at playing Call of Duty. Steven enjoyed writing poetry and spending time on his trampoline in the back yard. Steven will be greatly missed by all those he had the privilege to meet.
Steven was the dear brother of Nicholas E. Raso. He was the loving grandson of Charles and Rachel Raso and Edward and Gloria Moreschi. He was the caring nephew of Charles F. Raso, Gary A. Raso and his wife Karen, Lisa L. Lucey and her husband Kevin and Amanda Bourgeois and her husband Jacob. He was the dear cousin of Gina, Charla, Charles, Jillian, John, Ashley, Kevin, Bethany, Alexander, Stella and Rocco. Steven is also survived by many loving friends, in both the Lynnfield community and its’ surrounding cities, Wakefield, Melrose and Saugus.
A funeral Mass will be held in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 758 Salem St., Lynnfield, on Friday, October 9th, at 11 AM. Immediately afterwards, the family is hosting a reception at Spinelli’s Function Facility.
