It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Jenny Rae on September 15, 2026, after bravely battling cancer for the past 2 years. She is survived by. her brothers Steve and Walter and cousins John, Sue, and Robin.
Jenny dedicated nearly 20 years of devoted service to the Lenox Library Association (LLA), working right up until August of this year.
“We will miss her warm, witty and commanding presence so very much,” said Christine Conklin, President of the Lenox Library Association.
And while Jenny was serious about her work, she certainly knew how to have fun. She was always fashionable and ready with a great sense of humor.
She leaves behind not only an extraordinary legacy of service but a lasting impression on the many people whose lives she touched.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to Jenny’s family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing her. Jenny will be remembered with great appreciation, affection, and gratitude, and she will be deeply missed.
