Jeana M. (Cacciotta) Foster, age 62, of South Attleboro, a former longtime Mansfield resident, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Friday, September 25, 2026 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro.
Born in Boston, MA on August 12, 1964, she was a loving daughter of Thomas Cacciotta and was raised by Mary Barboza.
Jeana grew up in Mansfield and was a 1982 graduate of Mansfield High School. She continued her studies in the medical field by attending Fisher Junior College in North Attleboro. Jean had worked as a Home Delivery Shopper for Stop & Shop in Mansfield and later in North Providence and South Attleboro.
Jeana’s adoring family was the focal point of her life and she treasured family gatherings and cookouts. She was ordained as a minister to marry her brother Thomas and his wife Aurora and also officiated in services of life celebration for deceased family members as well.
Jeana’s hobbies included traveling and motorcycle rides. She collected change and was very proud of her coin collection. Her home and heart were always open to everyone and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her devoted children, Heather M. Smith of Kentucky, Samantha Foster and her fiancé Michael Vaz of Central Falls, RI, Michele R. Foster and her fiancé Charlie Mueller of Norton, William T. Foster, Sr. and his wife Emily of Holbrook and Alexandra P. Foster of Central Falls, RI. She was the cherished grandmother of Jordan, Mya, Kalel, Aryanna, Clayton, Briley, Charlotte, William, Jr. and Andrew. She was the dear sister of Thomas Cacciotta and his wife Aurora of Marstons Mills and the late Janice Perito.
A service in celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
Visiting hours are omitted and those wishing may remember Jeana with a donation in her memory made to Toys for Tots, care of Mansfield Rotary Club, P.O. Box 251, Mansfield, MA 02048.
