William Daniel “Bill” Holland, Sr., 91, of Tifton passed away Sunday, September 20, 2026, at his residence. A graveside funeral service will be held for Mr. Holland at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Wayside Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest. Brother Greg Hill will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 24, 2026, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Matthew Liles, Zach Nimmo, Tanner Nimmo, Jason Nugent, Lance Wilkes, and Daniel Holland will serve as pallbearers.
Born July 28, 1935, in Brooks County, Mr. Holland was the son of the late Willie Holland and Eliza Hill Holland. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Marie Danielczyk Holland; one son, William Daniel “Billy” Holland, Jr.; and five siblings, Jack Holland, Jean Graham, Mildred Holland, Nell Montgomery, and Judy Lawrence. Before retiring, he was the manager of Suburban Propane. In his spare time, he loved to hunt and fish. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Mr. Holland is survived by two daughters, Leesa Liles and Susan Nimmo of Tifton; one son-in-law, Greg Nimmo of Tifton; six grandchildren and their spouses, Matthew and Ashley Liles, Heather Holland, Jason Holland, Zach and Rose Nimmo, Tanner and Nicole Nimmo, and Taylor and Lance Wilkes; and seven great-grandchildren.
