Steven Douglas Vallance

Steven Douglas Vallance, 66, of Anderson, passed away at Community Hospital in Anderson on September 15, 2026 following several years of health challenges.
Steve was born on February 11, 1960 in Portsmouth, Ohio, the son of David L. and Janet P. (Cooper) Vallance. He graduated from Anderson High School in 1978 and served in the US Army. He had been employed by Elsa Corporation and the Correctional Facility in Pendleton as a security guard. Steve enjoyed playing World of Warcraft on the computer with his many online friends and spending time with his close group of friends, sharing meals and special times together.
He is survived by his wife Kim (Reehm) Vallance , whom he married May 4, 1991; his two sons Josh and Jonah (Maria) Vallance; his siblings Denise (Randy) Jones, Scott (Regina) Vallance, Jason (Staci) Vallance, Darren (Lori) Vallance; several nieces and nephews and cousins.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents and his in-laws, Richard and Carolyn Reehm.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21, 2026 from 3-5 PM at Eastside Church of God, with a funeral service following at 5 PM.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
