Parrott, Steven "Stevie" died suddenly on September 9, 2026 in Quincy at the age of 67, but for the majority of his life, he remained a fixture in the South End and in South Boston. He felt right at home in those city neighborhoods. Our family is forever grateful to all of those who supported and protected Steven throughout his life. His "Irish Luck" flourished when he befriended many of his "people" at J.J. Foley's Cafe. The unconditional love that the Foley and the Flynn families bestowed upon Steven made his difficult life infinitely better. We are forever grateful to Veterans Affairs and to the many programs that sustained Steven during most of his adult life.
Preceded in death by his brother Ryan Terry Parrott, Steven is survived by his brother Gregory Timothy Parrott and his sisters Susan Parrott Rockwood (Brahm), Catherine Parrott Thurston and Judith Parrott Papineau (Mark) as well as many nieces and nephews.

Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Avenue, Needham, MA on Saturday, October 24th from 12-2pm with a luncheon to follow.
